This came up in a discussion at work.

One of the guys is a "metal" fan and someone has introduced him to "BabyMetal"

Only the Japanese could come up with this!



This is a MUST for the next Eurovision!

Absolutely massive in Japan. Bought together by a Japanese version of Simon Cowell.
The girls are only 14 iirc, and sing cheesy Jap lyrics along to death metal backing music.
They are playing at the Sonisphere festival this year.

I deliberately hadn't mentioned that as I did not want to impose my "concerns" ... it is very worrying in both the manipulation and the ages

Looking forward to this lot. Suzuka the singer's 16, the other two 14. Agreed it's a bit dubious, but nothing new for the music industry, anywhere. Helen Shapiro springs to mind....
