I've just had a wild time at the Knockengorroch World Ceilidh. Variable weather - cloud, rain and overnight frost with a really sunny half day that has burnt my nose and forehead and blurred the edges of my cyclists tan.
Apart from the breakfast cups of tea, my fluid intake for the entire weekend was heavily adulterated with alcohol
The music was marvellous and the whole weekend was a great way to de-stress after a hectic fortnight at work.
The event has to be one of the best kept secrets on the festival circuit. I visited it for the first time last year and will be there next year.
