Had my first ride since coming off a week before the 25th of december.

Owwwieee, I think I need a little more time to recover.

I did manage to pick up a winter helmet though, and now it has been properly, modified, I think I might actually wear it somewhat.

oh, and I had a "kids size" head, apparently.

You'd think I'd have nothing to complain about after just one short little ride, but oooh no, the idiots where out in force today, had a guy try to overtake me, his wingmirror clipped the car he was undertaking!

It was rather, gratifying to be able to lean on my horn for a change though.
*airzound 3, I love you!*

cycling back was more relaxed, but the way into town, it's like everyone had suddenly forgotten how to act around a cyclist.

(yes I painted my helmet, no, I didn't spray it, just water bassed paints*

I just found this thread after a search as your accident popped back into my head. Glad you're back on your bike. That helmet job is unique, no mistaking it as anyone's other than yours now

I might have used too many shades of red/pink/purple though, it kinda looks like I've bled all over it already.

I've since added some hearts to it, so anyone who gets too close will hopefully realise I'm a person, not just a cyclist.
