I've just bought a new steed (Carrera Subway Ltd) after my last one ('05 Kona Lana'I) was half inched by some toerag, so I'm back to commuting by bike. Never quite got round to getting my car license, but I do have a full bike license which has tided me over for the last year or so. Time out of the saddle has already had me trying to indicate using my shifters and glancing at the non-existant mirror, as well as realising that I'm suddenly a lot more out of shape than I thought I was!

So...errr...Hi!

Welcome timbstoke. You can always add bar end mirrors to the pushbike. I've got them on each of mine, and whenever I try anything without it freaks the hell out of me.

Hi Arallsopp,

That's the plan - it feels unnatural riding without them now, although it's certainly reinforced the need for regular shoulder checks! I've also got an Airzound in the post, and I'm on the hunt for some decent P7 lights.
