Back on the road after kidney stones.

Today was my first day back out and it was pretty tough.

Trying to upload a photo but I'm new so I can't work it all out just yet.

14.6 miles round trip
Average 8mph

My bike is heavy and it was tough with the hills but I keep thinking I'm building more muscle carrying extra. It was an ideal ride in, cool and traffic wasn't too busy. Thinking to set off earlier tomorrow to avoid more massive scary trucks.

My Karrimor bag does have a hole for a drink straw but I haven't looked for where I can buy one. I think this is my main find this weekend, I'm always so thirsty when I ride.

Still miles better than sitting on a peasant wagon! Hope I can still feel my bum in the morning

Welcome to the forum. That's a very respectable commuting distance!
As for uploading photos, you've probably found the instructions here, but you need to have made a minimum number of posts before you can do this; I don't know offhand how many, but reckon you should just about be there with five. Give it another go and see what happens!
