How much will a bike shop charge me to change a back wheel on a road back......

I only ask because never done one myself and changing over the cassette and all that I can see it being a pain

You may be charged a mininum fee e.g a half hours work.

Its a dead easy job even if you haven't done it before

Search Youtube, its not a pain if you have the right tools: chain whip and lockring tool and possiblly an ajustable spanner (depending on the lockring tool). What is a bigger pain IME is waiting for a bike shop to do something when you want to ride immediately

A good shop shouldn't charge, if you are a good customer as its only a 5 min job however, but a cr@p shop (aka Hellfrauds) could charge more and take a while over it.

Agree with the others. It's a very easy job to do. Even the most cackhanded, hamfisted like @martint235 can do that job
And shout out for any local CC'ers for some help to show you how it's done.
