Barclaycard hacked?

Just found out that Barclaycard cancelled my card two days ago. They say that there is "concern about a certain retailer". Very vague. At the same time the local paper is reporting a massive eastern European hacking attack on a high street bank - may be connected?

Anybody else had their cards stopped in the last couple of days?

This is the second card we've had stopped in 3 weeks. It's becoming a regular annoyance. Still, it's better than losing our lolly.

Yes, had mine cancelled last week. Wouldn't, or couldn't, tell me which trader/transaction set the bells ringing. Was in Britain for a week in June, only used it a couple of times, one of those was in the big US bargain 'designer' barn that was so seriously busted a few years ago.
