Bargain? Or Reduced for a Reason?

I saw this bike reduced from £550 to £350 on Evans Cycles:

One thing that stuck out at me was that it uses Deore for the front and rear derailleurs. Is this a bargain, or have they reduced it for a reason?

In regards to deore, deore isn't that expensive but I've no idea how much the ones on this bike costs.

Most likely reduced because it's a 2008 model and they need to shift them. Nothing wrong with that. And Deore is good kit, nothing fancy, but reliable and good quality, especially at that price.

I agree with Kyuss: the price reduction is most likely due to the fact that it's a 2008 model. Like the bike, by the way; for that price, I'd buy it.
