I thought the same, but then I noticed that the blue things seem to be positives that you can get and the red things are negatives you would want rid of, so on that basis the 'husband and lover in your step' could well be a terrible translation of finding a partner. Is it weird I'm more annoyed by the red and blue positions than by the awful English?
