I'll try to keep this short.

1) I think cycling amongst motor traffic is fine and most reasonably fit adults are capable of it
2) Sub-optimal highway design (incl. heavily-compromised highway segregation) and narrow shared-use paths annoy the heck out of me and I think that only paths engineered to a 30mph design speed provide a measurable safety benefit
3) My current bicycle doesn't fit or perform well enough for me, and my current occupation doesn't suit cycling very well, but I hope I'll find a way to rectify these issues
