Long term loafer
Trying to remember back to that 4 Nations final. Thing I remember most was that 3 of the tries scored should not have counted. The forward pass for the winning try must have gone 5 yards forward, but a great game and an unbelievably skilled player. No Sam Tomkins though!

Rugby league: isn't that the game (England) where a big, strong, fast bloke gets the ball and looks round for two big, strong ... to run into; then he falls to the ground, wriggles about a for bit, then gets up and heels the ball to another big, strong ... who passes it to another big, strong ... who looks around for two big, etc. to run into; then he falls to the ground, wriggles about a for bit, then gets up and heels the ball to another big, strong ... who passes it to another big, strong ... who looks around for two big, etc. to run into; then he falls to the ground, wriggles about a for bit, then gets up and heels the ball to another big, strong ... who passes it to another big, strong ... who looks around for two big, etc. to run into .... etc.

And then, to prevent terminal boredom setting in, they give the ball to the other side, who repeat the process all over again.

Unless you're watching the Aussies or New Zealand, of course.

Yes, less start this one and I can repeat an age old anti-union rant about why I think that is a tedious and repetitive game devoid of any merit and you can have another pop and I'll reply and so on forever and ever and ever and ever...

While I'm at it isn't cycling a sport where a bunch of men ride as close as possible to another man's lycra clad sweat soaked ar$e in a continental gay orgy lasting up to three weeks at a time?

The main reason I miss setanta sport was the NRL games. I've never had sky sports so this was the only chance I had at the time to watch it. I loved watching players of Benji Marshall's calibre. There's a huge talent pool out there in Australia which is why they're so dominant on the international stage. The channel 9 coverage was so much better than anything in the UK. My wife ahs no interest in any kind of rugby but enjoyed the footy show when it was on and loved the enthusiasm they all had for the game. If I get a flat telly when the kids are older and won't run into it I'll get a small form factor PC attached to it and subscribe to the eurosport online player for the cycling and triathlon coverage and bluepond for the NRL.
