The cycle to work scheme will be coming around again very soon.

This time I want to enter the world of cycle cross. I fancy going along the canals to Liverpool etc.

I'm wanting SRAM, disc brakes & compatibility for some chunky tires. I may even enter some races for the laugh.

Have a look at FOCUS bikes. I had a Mares AX a couple of years ago and it was a brilliant machine that out specced anything else for the money at that time.

It's steel which is forged & machined in an advanced way. Very comfortable ride. My arms are strong.

The Planet X not in the Cycle2work scheme unfortunately, however they do now have finance packages but there's no point paying tax when I don't have to. I like the Giant tcx. I'm about 5' 7 & I'm on a 54 now but I'm going to drop lower & have a higher seat for a more racy steed next time.
