Hey all, I'm looking at buying a set of bike lights.

They must be rechargeable (either mains or USB).

I'm considering:

Lezyne Zecto Drive
Lezyne Micro Drive
Exposure Trace/TraceR

Does anyone have any other suggestions or opinions on the matter?

Cheers

I have the exposure flash / flare combo, which are pretty much the battery version (rechargeable) of the Trace TraceR. If you can't see the rear light then you won't see any rear light. Very happy with them, but in hindsight would have got the Trace set.

I've got a couple of the micro drive, happy with the front one, less so the rear as it is hard to mount other than on seatpost (not possible with pannier bags and also saddle bags)

OK so in the end I bought the Lezyne Micro Drive set and am very happy, I was going to get the Zecto Drive set but the Micro Drive were only a few pounds more and emitted more lumens.

My brother got the Zecto Drives... they are really good too.

Zecto Drive Pro arrived today. Will report back if I can test over the weekend.

Bit late for this thread, but I used the Zecto Drive Pro over the weekend. They can be used as front or back. So did just that. One on front & back. They seemed pretty bright in dull misty weather. Noticed some road signs picking up the flash about half a mile away.

My only concern is in low light I couldn't tell the difference between bright & normal flashing. Can affect the battery life. In the dark I'm sure it's obvious.

I ran them both on a long ride for about 6 hours. Front run out of juice just before the back. They went onto solid light before dying.
Fuel gauge is very useful, but not that visible when cycling. Alternatively Mr.Black skull novelty light kept disco-ing all day long.

I really like the exposure flare. It looks about the same brightness, and gives a really bright light. I use it in pulse mode in the daytime too, and it's really visible.

My front light I use the diablo on pulse, which is overkill price wise, but very hard to miss.
