Took the long way into work again this morning. Ment that most of my (12 mile) commute looked like this:

Most of my commute is off-road. Although most is boring tarmac cycle paths through parks there is the odd prescious mile or two like the above.

I have to say I prefered it in November than now because I had the paths to myself. Now theres loads of dog walkers in my way in the morning and groups of kids in the evenings.
