Can anyone recommend a good courier service for sending bike wheels?

I’ve never sent something so large before. They came via parcelforce so I’m considering using them.

The wheels are worth £3000 so needs to have solid insurance.

I used Parcel Force through Parcel Monkey (not sure how high the insurance goes, mine were only £180).

@120308 sent the ones I bought from him via Hermes. Used a proper Fulcrum box and all was well.
They weren't worth £3000, though...
When I looked, Hermes wouldn’t take a box that big (maybe business account?)
Based on reports on Hermes when things do go wrong, I wouldn’t send something of that value!

I would absolutely advise against Parcelforce. Recently they lost a pair of £400 wheels and the assistance I had in chasing them was nil. It took them ages to find the box, without any response to my chasing, taking 2 weeks to deliver a 24 hour parcel.

No apology, no communication, utterly abysmal service.

As above, the only courier company that gives me any confidence is DPD
