Talking of which, have you got The Lost Tapes triple CD?

I have indeed.

If what I think is going to be your next question is going to be on its way then I shall ask for a little more time, I've only listened to it all once through so far, I'll have to give it another listen before commenting.

Sorry for the tardy reply, I've been away for a couple of days.

It's Alive is quite superb.

The album is one of the most exhilarating ever released. I would say it was one of my favourite live albums, but of course only the inimitable Tommy Ramone drum track and inter-song banter are 'live' (i.e. as performed at the concert) - guitar, bass and singing vocals were all re-recorded in the studio. Nevertheless, it was all done brilliantly and resulted in one of the best high-energy blitzkrieg musical onslaughts ever made.

This is a good one too.

By happy coincidence I had the house to myself last night and gave The Lost Tapes a listen, there is good stuff there. It struck me it is fairly similar to Unlimited Edition in style, if you like that then you'll like The Lost Tapes.

Similar to most of the great live albums of the period.

not a double album , but what a gatefold sleeve. can identify almost all the hiddern maiden references and spent hours poring over it as a kid trying to spot them all.
