Best LBS in Edinburgh/Fife

Hi all,

Having some issues with my Triban skipping gears when I stand up to accelerate, particularly on hills. It always seems to happen on the middle gears on the rear cassette. I've tried adjusting the rear dérailleur but to no avail so would like to see if my LBS could help. Had it back to Decathlon once regarding it and they assured me it was fixed so not looking to take it back to them

If near the Meadows, try The Bicycle Works.

If to the north of the new town, try The Bike Chain.

The Co-Op is OK & did the job I asked, but has more the feel of a chain now rather than an LBS

If you want to learn how to do it yourself and get advice, go along to the Bike Station and hire out a repair stand and tools. There will be people walking around happy to help show you how to do the job. (just noticed after putting the link in that they will even do repairs for you)

Others exist, but these are ones I have used & liked.
