best online weather forcaster

Can you recommend a reliable, accurate online weather forcaster? At the moment I am using Yahoo weather as it came with the broadband software, but it is so annoying as it changes its mind like...well... like the weather. At 8.00am its going to be sunny/overcast today, by10.00am its going to be raining today! Some forcast. I could stick my head out of the window and get as good a prediction. Hang on a minute, that's probably how they do it.

I don't think there is a best on-line weather forecast site.
Have used many different sites over the last couple of years. Sometimes they get it right, sometimes they don't.
But as with accountantpete, I seem to be using the Beeb's site now more then the others. Met check is ok but throws a wobbly now and again, as does weather.com

I usually find its reliable to check a few sites and take the most common. Note however if they all say they must of made a mistake, they can't all be right

When Metcheck is having a wobbly, the MetOfffice.gov.uk is the one I like best. It has far more detail than I normally want though, but does have some nice features.

BBC works best for me. It was a lovely day weather wise for us yesterday. I checked the BBC weather site for today and it said rain overnight then more rain today. So I says to my boy in the midst of yesterdays sunshine "hard to think that it's going to rain in the morning" he looks to the clear blue sky and says "nah! no rain for us for a while" Mark my words, I was right!!! For once!!

also can get 5 day forecasts.

Just put in town or city in search for weather conditions,then when page appears under current conditions select a source for current conditions.

I always use MetCheck; found its Snow Report and Rain Report very accurate - litterally down to the half hour in some cases.

A lot of our fledgling farming business is weather dependant; or at least what tasks are carried out on which days; and the weekly cycle is planned based on MetChecks reports.

We find it very reliable. Of course it is not perfect, but we feel its the best tool out there.
