I have an old Benotto bike that I intend to put on ebay in the near future and would like some advice / help decideing which delivery method to use. Obviously Royal Mail will be a no-no regarding cost. Has anyone used any courier / parcel delivery services they could recommend and any approximate costs. I hope to be able to pick up an old bike box from a LBS so pakaging should not be a problem.

Thanks

Just look at the courier companies. I don't know what the prices are like, but I had a bike posted to me a while back for £20, so it can be done, albeit only slightly cheaply.

Parcel Force are the cheapest option I have found. I have a deposit down for a bike and that is the company I will use to get it here.
A bike weighs about 10kg depending on material/type and a bike box (well the one I will be using) is within the companies guidelines. About £12 it will cost.

Or you could use DPD who charge £15 for the same parcel.

Admittedly the £20 was an old bike without the wheels, but if the one you are selling is lightweight enough then the price will be about that or cheaper as Matthew has said already.
