Best roof rack for kids bikes

Hi all,

Complete cycle transporting newbie here! Anyone got any tips on which roof racks will fit for kids bikes (small kids, 16 and 20 inch frames)?

Not looking to spend Thule kind of money, just looking for something like the generic ~Halfords roof racks at £20 but they dont say if they fit bikes this small.
