best way to get to The Hawthorns (WBA) from Birmingham...

Any advice on the best way to get to The Hawthorns (West Brom FC) from Birmingham on public transport?

Probably starting off near Acocks Green, maybe get a local train into town, then tram or bus?

Any recommendations? Thanks.

I beleive that a Metroline runs from Snow Hill, which is a station in the centre of Brum, to the Hawthorns direct.

If you are starting from Acocks green get the local train to snow hill then the metroline from snow hill to the hawthorns. alternatively if you want to see a football match get the train to snow hill and walk to New street station then catch a train to either london or manchester
