Bicycles, especially retro-bicycles in advertising ... we're getting cooler!

It's come to my notice that the advertising industry seems to be displaying fashion wares on sweet young things accompanied by some old-road-bike. I noticed this in clothing adverts in the SAS in-flight magazine and 'Shortlist' magazine this week.
I've also seen them in shop-windows of fashion clothing shop type places.

Are we becoming cool or what?

What do you mean, 'becoming' cool FF? Some of us ... oh never mind.

I mean becoming cool to those other kind of people who don't realize what we already know ... that we're already cool.

I've had two enquiries from friends, one, a maker of film sets and the other, something in the fashion industry, about how to get their hands on retro bikes. The latter wants my Guv'nor....

I was walking down Paris Hight Street the other day and some la-di-da poncy clothes shop had a retro tandom in. The window.
