the other half is now house hunting for us and job hunting for herself, lots of help so far from the in laws in looking at places and ferrying her around, things are moving remarkably fast and i still havent got round to sorting out EPC and gas safety with no real chance to do it for a week or so at least! (stupid car needs a new clutch thanks to my mother!!)

even so, expect me to be terrorising the cornish roads in the next few weeks!!

So all going full steam ahead now!
the wife had a call yesterday inviting her for an interview at 2PM yesterday afternoon, she thought it had went well and she got offered the job this morning! she starts on tuesday as well so its nice and quick (even by city standards thats quick, however the cornish normally move a bit of a slower pace!) she got the call just as she was doing a second viewing on a house i liked down there! nice 3 bed semi, garage, garden conservatory and a WORKSHOP!!!! how cool is that!!! turned around and told the estate agent we would like to move in ASAP.

Are you sure you have not missed off a zero ? How much is the rent ?
Normal deposit is 6 weeks rent minimum (although you can find places that will only take a month's worth, but I'd wonder why)

EPC by the way is not mandatory, however a deposit certificate is.

We have £1000 already in savings, need a month deposit, month up front and about £200 fees. Rent is £600 pm.

Just sold my ridgeback to ny brother to get £100, may have to sell my warhammer to get a bit more cash though.
