Big Wide Yonder

For those who have been following the writings on my website My Bicycle and I over the past 18 months, and for those who like photography, I have launched another, more professionally oriented, website based around magazine writing and photojournalism which is what I do for a living. Rather than making daily 'blog' posts I am putting up an Image of The Day with an extended caption about the photograph or the story behind the taking of it. Quite a few are cycling oriented photographs but a good many aren't.

nice...I like the shot of the moon over virgin gorda....I was there a few years ago....beautiful....but the stars over the bay on st. john took the 'prize' for me. ..ive never seen so many, so close and so bright...and over such a wonderful backdrop...
