Bike Advice For Friend - £700 for comfortable long distancer and town.

£750 with shimano 2300 and an alu fork...wow! I am sure the frame is fab and it has a great warranty but ! And it's grey...zzz

Never even looked at the specs to be honest, just know its a bike which meets the requirements as it takes full mudguards, has rack mounts, being a triple its easy to pedal along and is tough enough to be considered general purpose.
I'm not a fan of the bike myself as its to general and unfocused but that's what's being asked for by the op... a general purpose bike

Can't find any proper reviews of in online, haven't heard of the make before, and don't know what the components are like, but after sending my friend a bunch of links and options he was quite attracted to this, and the Dolan.

Norco have been well respected in the MTB scene for years. That does look a nice bike, perhaps a bit more relaxed than the Dolan.

Is your friend able to try out anything before committing?

More a heneral use hybrid, but the hub gears make for sod all maintenance, and with bar ends I'd hazard a guess that 75+ will be comfortable too.

I've just bought a Preffisio. Will only take up to 23c tyres with mudguards. Something to bear in mind.

I managed to pick up a brand new one for £450.00, it has a great spec although a little heavy, but to be fair by the time you add all that's included, any bike will start to weigh some! I love the grips and the remote lockout is very useful.
