I was out on a club run this morning to the south of Cambridge, and we passed literally hundreds of cyclists heading up from London on the Bike Events London-Cambridge ride, from the early birds about 9.30, to the masses who were still pouring up the roads around Whittlesford and Harston at 2pm.
I don't want to go into the pros and cons of a particular organisation, but it was great to see so many riders of different types, on different bikes, and I would say of differing experience levels, all out on the roads enjoying themselves. Anything that gets people out on bikes is good by me.
So if you were one of these happy masses, hope it was good for you too.
