Bike Garda Hotel - anyone been here?

Hi has anyone stayed at the Garda Bike Hotel before and know what the cycling is like in the area.

Peschiera del Garda is OK but not very exciting. It's a good base for cycling the hills north of Verona (Soave wine country). Personally I'd want to be a bit further north towards the Dolomites - but possibly they offer bike transport.

I went to their sister hotel, Hotel Veronello, last summer. I believe the family have since left Veronello to concentrate on this new hotel.

The organised rides are brilliant and Giusto, our guide was excellent - good local knowledge to hunt out the best cafés. An American couple who were staying at the new hotel joined us on the rides and said the new place was much better than Veronello, where they'd stayed the previous year.

Highly recommended.
