I normally cycle 4 miles to Bromsgrove train station on my commute - decides this morning to go 9 miles to Barnt Green instead.

Used Bike Hub Satnav on the iPhone for the first time used 'quietest route' and apart from taking me over a closed railway crossing and through a field was quite impressed! Endomondo also running in the background to log worked flawlessly.

Took a dent on my average speed though - have to push to make it back up!

I can't work out the best use for Bike Hub, it sucks at longer journeys either sending you down dual carriageways or across ferries. The reason I cycle is so I don't have to get the ferry. And short journeys are usually short enough for me to find my own way.

Hmmm...

Kept up for me on an iphone (probably not going fast enough then) - nice touch that it 'pings' near and on turnings.

There is a way to feedback errors in routes via the website - which I've done for the railway crossing today. I guess the more people use it and report errors, the better it gets.

I'm not sure when you last tried it but looking at the twitter feed it looks like they have updated it recently - might be worth another try?
