Bike lock brand

Just wondering if anybody could help with a one-off query from an inexperienced cyclist:

My bike was recently stolen, but was locked with a chain lock made by a company that I believe offered an insurance policy with the lock. Unfortunately, I do not have details of the company's name. The key's have a letter M with a padlock closure on the top as a logo. Does anyone know the name of the company who make these locks?

It might have been Masterlock, no idea how good these policies are however.

Thanks for the tip, although I don't recognise it from the pictures on their website. Any other suggestions from anyone?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if you cant even remember the lock manufacturer, then I guess you have no proof of purchase so there is no chance that they will pay out.

I have the serial number for the lock, and had registered it, so hoped that the manufacturer would have a record of that. You may well be right though...

That is the brand for Magnum locks.
