Hello everyone. I'm not sure which section of forum to post such a question, so please correct me if I'm doing it wrong.
I will have to move out of country for a job and can't take my bike with me. It was a present, and I have no documentation left, so I have no idea what model it is and what price should I put it on ebay.
Thanks in advance.

I can see it's a Trek. Some sort of hybrid or what they call a Trekking bike. It has V brakes. Nothing too special I'm afraid. The frame is quite small. Maybe put it on at £20 start and see where it goes, you might get £100 if you are lucky.

But... my mom got it for almost £1000. Is it really that cheap to sell?

Are you sure you don't have the frame number, that way we can be sure that what we value it at is what it really is worth.

I'm just really unsure which of them is the serial number. Is it one of these? All of them were underneath:

Sorry I am not too much of an expert on Trek but it is a aluminum frame with what might be a carbon fork, can't see the sticker, perhaps you could confirm. But even so I wouldn't have thought it would cost anywhere near £1000. Hopefully someone will be along soon who can id it.

Just out of interest do you have any details on the purchase of the bike? You'll find many people will not buy a bike without it.

not really.. I'll look for it, it still might be in my apartment.

Edit: http://www.trekbikes.com/uk/en/bikes/2013/archive/trek/7_5_fx_wsd/

Pretty sure it's that, listed at £750 new.

I reckon you should be looking for around £250-300 for it if the condition is as good as it looks in the pic. Perhaps try on here and local Gumtree before resorting to Ebay? If you end up going the auction route I'd stick a reserve of £250 on it.
Oh thank you so much! I'll try it. At least I remember right that it was pretty expensive.

Similar question to the above - I'm completely new to biking & purchased a second hand Bianchi VIA NIRONE 7 road bike and am not sure of the exact specification/ components/ year? Can anyone tell from the below images or know how I could find out?
