hi guys
looking to upgrade to a carbon bike
anyone know any good bike shops in norwich and urrounding areas
also thinking ultegra, any other good group sets from different brands?
looking to spend around 1500

Howards in Wymondham are lovely. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Awesome people, good prices and a really friendly bunch. They are closed on Wednesdays. Wymondham has proper opening hours

I like SRAM over Shimano, don't get on with Shimano hoods, can't brake effectively

Why do you consider carbon an upgrade? Over what?

Can't help with shops, but Pauls do often have some excellent deals on outgoing models, look at their website

See Bill, the manager, he's a lovely chap and really knowledgeable. Jarrolds has a great cafe on the 2nd floor that does lovely coffee (free refills) and cake.

Velocity, down near the river on Prince of Wales road always seems to have a lovely selection of bicycles. Never actually been in so couldn't comment on the service or knowledge.

The chap that I have seen in Velocity is very nice. He seems very knowledgeable and stocks a range of Boardman & Forme bikes, much nicer and posher than the Halfords ones.

I have bought a specialized vita from Pilch and as saluki says Bill is a nice chap

Streetlife cycles are also Specialized dealers in West End Street just off Dereham Road

IIRC there's a large bike shop just up from the station on the left hand side of the road.

Can't remember what it's called but it looks attractive/tempting from the outside.
