When I was looking for my bike (Cube) I was aware that their frames on paper look large but are actually smaller. I'm on a 56 frame yet only 5'7" and 29" inside leg.
A good bike shop should set up the bike for you and let you test ride (usually if it's dry - fortunately for me it was!)
Fits me well and tbh I'm sure I could have gone for a size smaller (54) and noticed little difference but now I've ridden the bike for a few rides/miles, I'm not thinking it is the wrong size.
