My son's bike (Carrera Gryphon V with som mods) was stolen from our back garden yesterday while people were in the house! The garden is surrounded by a 7ft stone wall so its relatively secure!
Because it was afternoon and school holidays the bike had been in use and was not locked up!
There were other bikes there but they were locked up except one, which belongs to my other son and had also been in use during the day.
Today, a couple of lads (16/17ish) popped their heads over the wall at lunchtime. I chased after them - one of them on foot, the other on a bike. Sadly, I didn;t catch them.
I can only assume they came back for the bike that was unlocked yesterday.
Fooking theifs!
