Hello Everyone,
I'm a third year student studying Product design and after carrying out lots of research I've identified what a huge problem bike theft is in the UK especially. I've put together a questionnaire for primary research and I would be incredible grateful if you could fill in this questionnaire and get as many of your friends to as possible ! I think it's fantastic how passionate you all are and i want to try and encourage as many people to start commuting to work as possible by providing a safe place for them to store their bikes.

Many thanks in advance and please copy the link to as many people as you can !

Personally I would hang, draw and quarter cycle thieves but I guess you don't ride a bicycle

People who don't wear helmets* deserve to have their bikes stolen to teach them a lesson.

*It counts as safety wear, trust me.
I gathered that she was referring to the annoyance of carrying a helmet around during the day, if you wear one. I mean her whole thing is about storage, no?

I think they want to know about helmets for the storing-them-at-work perspective. I just shove mine on my desk, next to my signed picture of Frank Drebin (signed by Nielsen himself), the greatest copper that ever lived.

That would make sense, the question wasn't phrased exactly that way though.

That's because questionnaire design isn't part of her product design course.

In fact, questionnaire design doesn't seem to to be taught to anyone submitting questionnaires to this forum.

Good point. Perhaps everyone who wishes to promote a survey here should have to submit it to the surveys committee for checking.

I spent yesterday answering questionnaires created by the lower sixth psychology students.

Questionnaire number one: Do you prefer women with brown eyes or blue eyes?
Questionnaire number two: Which of the two qualities influence your choicer of partner; looks or intelligence?
Questionnaire number three: Which do you prefer; A partner taller than you or a partner shorter than you?
Questionnaire number four: Which colour hair do you prefer when choosing a partner; blonde or brown?
Questionnaires five to ten were variants of one to four.

I'm not convinced that they will collect any useful data.
