Bike tips?

Hi guys

Had my bike stolen today-totally gutted: am in the middle of sorting out the insurance.

Am contemplating getting the same bike; Specialized Ruby Elite 2008 with Time RMX pedals.

However, I came across cyclefit the other day who can make a custom bike for just under a grand; the compromise here is that the bike frame is not all carbon fibre.

Stick with the specialized or go for the custom aluminium and CF seat post?

Unless your fit is super specific (as in, your body has odd proportions), then an off the peg bike should suit you pretty well, in which case the higher spec is more practical than the custom fit...
