I recently brought a 2012 Cube Attention in white/grey after being impressed with its spec and value for money.I had seen loads of pics online aswell as drooling over it in the Cube brochure for a few weeks but when ive got it home and compared it to the brochure theres a few parts that differ.

heres a ist of parts that are different
-Different Alex rims
-The Rockshox upper stantion crown is black instead of white which matched the frame colour
-Different tyres
-There were some querky anodised blue parts that i dont seem to have

Its not a moan as its still a cracking bike but just wondered why Cube would print picture of their bikes in their brochure which vary from the actual bike espcially as the bike is the new 2012 version

Whats the reasoning for this?

Did you bother to contact the bike shop you bought it from and relay your concerns?
Maybe they could swop it or reassure you you have a better deal or whatever the reasoning is.
Put them on the spot and see what they say.
I think you will find they tell you its ' we reserve the right to change etc' but who knows maybe you have got a bike that's not what it should be?
