One for @User9609 or noted bird expert @User14044...

Below are a couple of pictures of a pigeon nest in progress. The spot is quite secluded and sheltered but doesn't seem the safest environment for a nest, and there is a lot of human traffic in the corridor next to the window; I'm concerned this would startle the bird?

Would it be safe to ask our facilities team to move the nest? It doesn't look like it would stay together, would this confuse the bird?

Advice welcomed!

Don't move it. If you do, it is very likely that the birds will abandon their nest building in any case

Just leave them to it. They will either get used to the human traffic or they won't

The birds seem to know when there is a glass barrier there, and some, like pigeons and sparrows, seem to prefer being near to humans for protection from predators. I've had robins and house finches nesting on an elbow of my houses downspouts for some years now, next to the deck. Two dogs and two humans coming and going at all times. We have, at work, (major insurance company, 23000 people employed) many goose and duck nests right next to the building. It'll be just fine.

Thanks for the advice folks. That's what I sort of suspected but wanted a collection of strangers from the internet to confirm.

I'll let facilities know it's there, just in case there are any workmen/window cleaners going to be in the area.

If it's K glass the birds probably won't be able to see much of the darker interior anyway as K glass is lightly mirrored.
