I heard my hubby giving the older kids the don't bother with umbrella's talk just before he set off on his bike this morning. The youngest and myself will set off shortly and hopefully not get blown around too much on the bikes.

Steady 40 mph in NE Fife yesterday, down to 30 mph this morning from the NE. Left the bike at home and used the motor for the 2nd day. Some local roads closed with fallen trees and floods.

Not a good day at all. My speeds dropped by about 5mph and I was blown all over the road, was good when the wind was behind me but that was short lived.

The wind was pretty immense last night, this morning though it seemed to have settled down to constant rather than gusty winds.

I had mostly a head wind tonight but at least my homeward leg is downhill.

Horrid wind this morning (oh err), even had to work hard to go down hill, still I remembered to swap back to my winters gloves this morning, hands were rather cold yesterday.
