Blue Ribble mountain bike FOUND in Peckham

This bike was found abandoned in Peckham. It's so new the pedals look like they haven't even been used and it's not on Bike Register.

Why would someone a) dump a brand new bike or b) leave their brand new bike in a park???

They’ve either got more money than sense or more likely the bike is ‘hot’ and likely to get someone in to trouble for handling stolen goods. I’d put it back or hand it in to the police.

I'd inform the Police and Ribble. Its a hybrid as well, not a Mountain bike. The Police will be able to trace its owner through Ribble.
