It was cleaned regularly but I did use it and not abuse it I can assure you!
A great bike for starting off into road cycling, I do not regret it one bit. Which leads me to the boardman bashers.. I currently have moved onto a far more expensive Titanium machine but I cannot knock the comp that got me through so many miles.
If you haven't owned one and covered many miles using one then comments like the aforementioned mr festival are just plastic. I don't bash any other brands as I have not tried/used/abused them. Halfords tend to be hit and miss but the odd lbs can have just as poor a reputation, it depends on where you live.
