From the looks of it, the largest cassette cog you can have is 14T, so you'll have to lock off any cogs that have less teeth than this.

I'd look at a 14-25 cassette if that's a restriction.

Just talking to a mate and he said all those rules are pretty much ignored until you get to the national events.

If that day were ever to come, I'll sort it out, but I will probably be much older by then:smile:

Got enough for a pair of ultremos, should I buy or is there another option?

Nada, gears are checked at every race once you've signed in, when you get caught you get disqualified instantly, I emailed British cycling to check and they said that the locking off method is accepted at club level, but to compete in nationals you need to have a new cassette.
