BookCrossing - anyone been involved?

I've found a couple, never read them but picked them up and left one at a cash machine, and one at a bus stop

There's a unique ID number on the book, so you can register and track the book's whereabouts.
It all relies on goodwill, of course. I might release this book overseas and see if someone picks it up!

Great idea - and now I know what to look for I'll be sneaking a peek inside the cover of every stray book I find left on a coffee shop table or chair.

I picked up a copy of a 1970's jazz mag I found on a park bench. Does that count?
