I really enjoyed the ride out of Bordeaux, did the old railway line route not exist back then?
Seconded about the ride into Barcelona though, I know Bike Adventures have asked all those on the tour when they asked for feedback if they should end the tour in the suburbs, it is one of those towns where there is no easy access by bike so they have no choice to send you through what are areas that they would if possible normally avoid.
Montserrat would have been a possible final destination. Seconded also about the Pyrenees, they are superb, although even they were eclipsed for me by the mountain route from Organya to Solsona
