brake cable issues

i bought a length of jagwire outer cable off ebay and what i got is marked bbb ,is this the same thing ?iv got other cable and it actually says jagwire on it ,,have i been fobbed off

I doubt you have really been ripped off. Manufacturing being what it is, it'll probably all be of very similar quality.

it was reg black and i just put other new white stuff on and it was pretty rubbish so i thought this would b better ,but bbb ,its not jagwire no?thats what its sold as !

BBB cables aren't Jagwire. Might be similar in quality, but you've not been sent the right stuff.

Jagwire isn't exactly supreme quality. It's not like being sold a Campagnolo component and receiving a Shimano one instead.

hahahaha ,,im not looking for the absolute best (well i wash i could afford it)but its gota b btr than the cheap stuff i got from somebody ,i thought brake cable outers were all much the same but the cheap ones felt really rough and it felt like the inner cable was binding and more effort than normal was required,,it was kinda grindy as if there was dirt in it!!
so would u say bbb is comparable to jagwire then or should i send it back?
my other bike has jagwire cables all round so thats why i thought il get what i know ,,iv never used bbb at all in the past ,just dont want to fit/cut it and it is rubbish and then i cant return it ,
somebody sent me a link to a gore set but they were like 28£ ,and on a bike that cost £140 brand new its a bit much ,dont mind a fiver or something but the bike rally doesnt warrant top quality parts

My Bianchi is fitted with Jagwire, except one cable which is BBB, I guess the lbs ran out; I've not had a problem but if you paid for Jagwire you are entitled to get Jagwire!

are they much the same though ?,no point in sending it back if its similiar stuff ,,it wont b seen as its mostly hidden ,,i just want something that works ok

Jagwire should be slightly better but I doubt if any mere mortal would notice the difference. I couldn't even tell you if the BBB outer on the Bianchi is a brake or gear cable or front or rear.
