Brian Pern RIP

I have only just found out that Brian Pern has passed away, so sad. BBC4 are showing a tribute on Wednesday evening followed by a celebration of his music.

I can't say I liked, or understood his early work with Throtch, but then I was never into Prog. I suppose I really got interested when he invented World Music and opened everybody's eyes to the mirriad possibilities and rhythms.

I also passed on tickets for the Throtch reunion concert, which I hugely regret because I reckon I could have sold them on at a massive profit.

RIP Brian.

Anyway, he isnt dead, he is hiding in the rain forest in Brazil.
I enjoyed the hastily cobbled together documentary, and look forward to the netflicks special.
