Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
Running this year on Sunday 27 April 2014. Cover some of Stage 2 of the TDF route.

Named after Britain's first Tour de France stage winner, this route uses many of the roads which Brian trained on in his youth.
The ride offers an excellent warm up distance before many of the more rigourous summer sportives to come. Don't let the shorter distance decieve you, the Pennine climbs and variable weather make this a true challenge for all riders
This is a not for profit ride with money being donated to good causes , around £40,000 being donated so far.

The 2014 ride is likely to be a bit busier than last year's 250 entrants due to the TDF connection. However, 500+ entered in 2012 but only 230 started due to the horrendous weather.

Entry fee: £28

I've got to add my own bias here: the organiser's in my club, Ravensthorpe Cycling Club, as is Brian.
