Hi all . Just wondered if anyone has cycle around here and if they have wild camped on their journey .Its is a bit of a dream to cycle tour some of BC and be self sufficient when I want to be but I also respect the wild life .

Having just returned from BC and Alberta it’s a beautiful place to cycle tour. Roads were very well maintained and very little traffic. The people are very friendly and plenty of outdoor activity shops if you forget something.

BC covers a vast area, almost unimaginable to euros. Have you been to north america before? Do you have any idea of which part of BC you would like to ride? What time of year?
I would suggest wild camping is possible, provided you are experienced and prepared. Depending on where you would like to go, you could be far from help if you had difficulties.

The Boss, he lives in the Alberta/BC vicinity and is father to 80% of the bears. He can be a bit Grizzly.

I,m thinking of the west coast , Vancouver might be idea and could jump back on main land at the top of island , Its all a bit of a dream at mo . But will go in summer .

Did you ever make it over here to Vancouver Island? If not I would be happy to give you some really amazing rides. If you already made it I hope it was awesome.
