brixton incident

Walking down the road today, there was a guy with a bike having a barny with a bus driver. Did not see what happened or anything. Normal guy, (not lycra clad), bike leaning up against teh front of the bus to stop it going anywhre, and guy on phone. as we got to the station, a couple of police cars went up the road. Anyone know what happened?

brixton highstreet is a nightmare to cycle down in the morning, i can only guess the bus side swiped the cyclists. or he was drafting it and went into the back.

The really great thing about Brixton High Street is - everybody can look after themselves.

brixton! lol they are doing the whole area up. its all pretty crazy. a bit like north side of blackriars bridge

lol, should i try and explain, or would i be digging a deeper hole?

Please try and explain where Brixton High Street is. I have known the area for thirty years and have still to find that stretch of road.

Well, i presumeit starts by the bit under the railway bridge (M&S) and then ends by KFC, i would have thought. Thats the main drag where most of the "shops" are. After KFC I guess is the start, well prob more by Mass, the start of Brixton Hill.

You can't miss the A23, road going from kennington park (the oval) to Brighton.
North side of Croydon it's called London Road, South Side it's called Brighton Road.

That's Brixton Road. I miss the shops coz I turn off down Railton Road, but it's not a bad bit of cycling. Fast morning run. Fast evening run. No traffic probs.

yes good evening run, usualy, althogh there is that messed up manhole cover by the cop shop as you run up the high street. they keep covering it with tarmac, but never seems to last
