Another for 'yes it was baltic this morning' was out at 5am with the dogs and there is a definite change in the weather temp wise, felt it last night as well on my way home after a spin on the bike.
another layer shall go on this weekend

Lights and a windproof jacket needed at 6.00 this morning. Stupidly I didn't wear gloves and my fingers were frozen within 15 minutes. Had trouble keying the numberpad of the cycle shed by the time I got to work - couldn't feel a thing, then couldn't grip the round handle to open the gate!
Glove shopping due.

Yep, I noticed the chill this morning too despite it being a little later in the morning (approx. 8am). Time to swap the fingerless gloves and think about another layer!

Old knees !!
Last time i rode regulary when it was chillier with my knees out it took a few weeks and fiddling about with the seat to realize it was the cold that set them off.

Seen just as bad weather in Derbyshire as I did on Skye, went to school in Buxton and lived on Skye a Decade ago. One year 79 I think snow laid from Jan-April. Never knew that happen on Skye.

Lost my rear light off the back of my bike yesterday. Spent the return journey and both journeys today scouring the gutters looking for it.

When it is very cold I often wear two pairs of socks.

the warm afternoons are playing havoc with the commute at the moment as its a lot cooler at 6am for the ride in. still in shorts and short sleeved top , but its not going to be long till its a long sleeve top and shorts then the inevitable " what do i wear over the shorts" question.

Cool mornings in September means clear skys and sunny days, A small price to pay after our miserable summer. I am enjoying the current spell of decent weather but yes the arm warming are making an early appearance,
