My god that was the coldest ride so far this winter, set off at 5.15 and it was -7 i was like a block of ice once i finished the 15 mile commute.

So with it being the coldest ride i of course had to get a puncture about 10 miles into my journey, a road gritter over took me pelting me with grit and this is also which caused to puncture.

Ahh well i am in work now with a hot cup of coffee.

About the same temperature in Glasgow this morning. Got a call out to work this morning about quarter to 4 so the bike had to get left at home today.

Yeah was 35 degrees here but i did get some funny looks on the way back.Caught the train half way back due to having to wear a mask,due to cough after cold or whatever it was.Was wearing shorts yesterday lol.

It was -5 here this morning at 7am. Enough to make me head back to bed this morning, club ride or no!

It makes me chuckle when i see people in there half frozen tin cans giving me weird looks.

Really strange thing was as cold and frosty as it was there was not much ice to contend with as i seriously thought about taking the car but decided to MTFU, glad i did as it was my fastest ride in this year (talking about riding time).

I dont see anyone on a bike on my commute route now i think they have all put there bikes away for the winter.

I have to ride in with mask again today as it stops me breathing cold air so causing me to cough.dont like wearing a mask and im not trying to make a statement about pollution.In fact i was tempted to make a card up stating the fact i was wearing the mask to stop the coughing.

Yeah i always thought you looked like some sort of stealth ninja come rapist with a full face mask on... but after this morning i ordered a balaclava from CRC as having a numb face is a weird thing.

just been on metcheck @ mo it is 3.c bit it feels like -5
When I am going home it will be -2 and will feel like -7 will have to peddle fast to keep warm

Once you add the the wind chill factor of going at say 15mph (dunno how fast you go) in -7, It will actually feel like -15 ish.. need to check this when i go home i have a scale thingy that works it out (sad i know).
